Colpurin Review

The Colpurin Colon Cleansing Program, consists of two products - Internal Cleanse & Body Purifier. It is a 30-day colon cleansing program. You would take the Colpurin Internal Cleanse for thie first 15 days, while simultaneously taking the Colpurin Body Purifier for 30 days. Colpurin recommend that you drink plenty of water and eat a well balanced diet while participating in their colon cleansing program.

Company:

Huntington Nutracueticals, the company that manufactures Colpurin, has been around for about 6 years. colpurin (38K)According to a Colpurin customer service representative, the company spent about three years developing the formula, and the last three years selling it. Their hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm (EST).

Price:

The price of Colpurin is $64.99. This is a about average, maybe slightly high, for a 30-day colon cleansing program. Colpurin does not offer Free Shipping, unless your order totals $200 or more, so factor in an extra $6.95 for S&H costs... if needed.

Common Consumer Complaints According to Health Forums:

There is virtually no talk about Colpurin in health forums across the internet. It seems that either nobody is taking Colpurin, or nobody is talking about it online. Whatever the case, the few comments we've found seem to echo the Colpurin customer service representatives complaint comments.

Product Label:

Colpurin's labels for both of their products, Internal Cleanse & Body Purifier, are pretty basic. Nothing special, but better than most colon cleansing product labels. Most importantly, they provide all the required information, Ingredients, Instructions, FDA Compliance Statement, etc. You can view their product labels on their website.

Product Website:

Colpurin's official website has plenty of information about their product. They provide FAQ's, a list of ingredients, they offer a LIVE chat option for quick answers. The fact that they provide a link to "View the Product Label" is impressive. Not too many colon cleansing companies offer that option. They have nice graphics and the layout is easy to navigate. The color scheme is nice. It's easy on the eyes. The only bad thing - the load time for this site was pretty slow, but this is a common problem for "graphically-intense" websites.

Guarantee:

Colpurin offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for their colon cleansing program. The 30-days start from the date that you recieve the product. Colpurin also charges a 25% restocking fee for any opened products. This guarantee is a little shorter than the average guarantee. It would be more impressive it they offered a 60 day guarantee.

Possible Consumer Concerns:

There are a few little concerns that we feel need to be mentioned. First, Colpurin has one ingredient, Cascara Sagrada, which is one natural ingredient that should never be taken for more than 7 days. You should never take Cascara Sagrada if you suffer from any of the following: Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Diverticulitis or Diverticulosis, Ulcerative Colitis, Severe Hemorrhoids, Severe or Chronic Diarrhea, Liver or Kidney Disease, Anemia, Heart Failure, Blood Vessel Disease. Cascara Sagrada has also been known to cause severe abdominal pain and cramps. Pregnant women should not consume any products containing Cascara Sagrada. Always consult your doctor before using any products containing Cascara Sagrada. However, it must be noted that Colpurin does provide warnings and adequate information about Cascara Sagrada.

One other concern, Colpurin does not use Vegetarian Capsules with their product. They use gelatin capsules, which is primarily made from by-products of slaughtered animals. This may make some vegetarians uncomfortable. We have found no mention of gelatin capsules on Colpurin's website.
