The Énuvia Internal Cleansing System is a three-part cleansing and detoxification program. Énuvia goes beyond just colon cleansing, their cleansing program also focuses on cleansing and purifying the liver & kidneys as well. The Énuvia Internal Cleansing System lasts for 90 days. This would normally be considered too long for a colon cleansing program, but Énuvia is different in the fact that they not only cleanse the colon, but they also cleanse the liver and kidneys.

It's 100% All-Natural, which is a plus. One thing that concerns us with Énuvia, is the use of two ingredients - Bentonite Clay & Senna. Which we will discuss in detail below, in the Possible Consumer Concerns section.

Company:

The company was created about 30 years ago by a chemist. However, complete information about this company is hard to come by. We've seen other colon cleansing companies offer up plenty of information about how & why they started, how long they've been around, and other important information about the manufacturing company. Énuvia Research LLC, has very little information about their company listed on their website. It would be nice to know who developed the product you are taking. Was it a Doctor? Herbalist? or just some random person?

They list an address and customer service number to call on their website, however they don't list the hours in which you can call and speak with someone, which seems kind of odd. The customer service hours are actually 8-5pm (MST) and they do not offer customer service on the weekends.

Price:

The price for the 90-day Internal cleansing program is listed at $79.95. This is a good price considering you are getting a 90-day cleansing program, that covers not only the colon, but also the kidneys & liver. However, they don't give Free Shipping on their product, so you'll need to factor in an extra $5 or so.

Common Complaints According to Énuvia:

The common complaints, according to an Énuvia customer service representative, are bloating and constipation. Some also complain of being allergic to an ingredient in the tablet. Énuvia recommends that you print out the ingredient list and show it to your doctor, prior to starting the cleansing program. This would be a wise decision.

Considering this is one of the 'major' players in the colon cleansing market, there is surprisingly little to no talk of the Énuvia Internal Cleansing Program in the many health forums around the internet. Not sure if this is a good or bad sign. Take it for what you will...

Product Label:

The labels for the Énuvia Internal Cleansing Program are pretty basic. It has a nice design. Contains all the important information, such as ingredients & FDA Compliance Statement. The only down-side (if you consider this a down-side) is that the labels may look too similar. It's possible that someone could get the colon cleansing tablets mixed up with the liver detoxification tablets. However, the chances of that happening are pretty slim.

Product Website:

The official website for Énuvia is very plain. It's very basic. They only offer a small handful of pages. They provide very little information about their product, and how it works. They don't have an FAQ's section, so if a consumer has any questions, they have no choice but to contact the company. They offer six, very short testimonials that are not very convincing. The website could absolutely use a makeover.

One positive aspect about their website, is that they have an option for LIVE chat with a customer service representative. This is great for customers. However, when clicked on, it took them over 15 minutes to respond and say hello. The customer service representative offered little information about their product. He was vague in all of his answers. It also took him a long time to respond to every question asked. Overall, the chat lasted close to an hour. Of course, he may have been really busy or having a bad day, we certainly hope this isn't the norm.

Possible Consumer Concerns:

Bentonite has many beneficial qualities to it, and you can benefit greatly from the use of Bentonite Clay, but the concern lies in the fact that it's basically Aluminum. One of the main purposes of doing a cleanse, especially a liver detoxification, is to remove these very toxins. Please keep in mind that there are many beneficial qualities of Bentonite Clay, but that its use is a topic of debate in the colon cleansing world.

The use of Senna in the Énuvia Internal Cleansing System is exceptionally concerning to us, because excessive use of Senna (more than 7 days) can do alot of damage to your bowels. Additionally, if you suffer from Severe Hemorrhoids, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's disease, Diverticular Disease, Blood Vessel Disease, Heart Disease, Anemia, or Abdominal Hernia should NOT take senna products. This also applies to pregnant women. None of this information concerning Senna is listed on Énuvia's official website. Please consult with your doctor before the use of any products containing Senna.

The Énuvia cleansing program consists of taking two tablets a day. The use of tablets is also a concern. Tablets are not as effective as capsules, because they are harder to absorb. The process of manufacturing the tablets kills alot of the nutrients in the tablet.
