FDA Compliance Statement
The FDA Compliance Statement is a required statement for all dietary health supplements. Any product that has not been approved by the FDA has to have this statement printed anywhere product information is listed. This includes on the product label, packaging, website and informative brochures.
The FDA compliance statement is required because dietary supplements, especially colon cleansers using herbs, are formulated to use many different ingredients, all from different sources. It's impossible to analyze these ingredients for purity and safety prior to the product hitting the shelves.
This is why it's very important to do the proper research on any colon cleansing product, or dietary health supplement, you take. It's not smart to ingest something from a company that you know nothing about or is intentionally NOT following the FDA guidelines.
This is a protection that is provided to the consumer. There are too many companies making outlandish claims that their products can 'cure' or 'treat' serious illnesses. To protect the consumer from scam artists and cheaply produced supplements, the FDA created this statement.
The inclusion of the FDA compliance statement on any product, does not mean that something is wrong with that product. It simply means that the company producing the product is obliging to FDA laws.
If a product does NOT have the FDA compliance statement printed on their labels or other product-related content, then that should be a major red flag to the consumer. Any company that does not follow the strict FDA guidelines, is breaking the law, and should not be trusted.
